General

When you send a Help email to mail@merlinlibrary.com you will receive a reply within 24 hours excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. Most queries can be sorted by email however we can call you if you send us a contact number.

Ordering

Select Education Level, Select School, Select Grade, Select Books. Click on the Radio Button 'Without Cover'  if you would not like your books covered. Click on 'CheckOut'. For more detail go to How it Works.

If a textbook or past paper is out-of-print, this means that the Publisher will not be reprinting the title. We will not be able to supply or record orders of out-of-print titles.
Titles that are not in stock at the time of your order, but which will become available before the start of school term, can be recorded. This is usually due to the Publisher reprinting the title. You will receive an email communication when any of your recorded orders have been received. These recorded orders could arrive at different times, as they may be from different Publishers or different countries. We regret we are unable to record any orders for Matsec Past Papers.
Select Education Level, Select School, Select Grade, Select Books. Click on the Radio Button 'Without Cover'  if you would not like your books covered. Click on 'CheckOut'. Click on 'Request Quote', create an account by keying in your name, surname, email, mobile number, telephone number and address and click on 'Confirm'. You will receive an email with your order confirmation within minutes.

Once you have your shopping cart on your screen, you can select 'Continue Shopping' and when you return to your shopping cart select 'Order'.

Payment and Delivery

Payment must be made on delivery or pickup from Merlin Library. Payments can be made by means of cash, credit or debit card or cheque at Merlin Library and by cash or cheque on delivery. Payments made by cheque will only be accepted on presentation of the account holder’s identity card and should be made payable to Audio Visual Centre Ltd..
Since May 1st 2004, VAT of 5% is payable on all printed matter including textbooks. Our invoices and cash sales are compliant with VAT legislation. Our Company has been granted an exemption number No–EX0831 as indicated on the invoice itself from issuing VAT Department receipts.
Retail prices that include VAT at 5% are clearly listed on our invoices and cash sales and we offer customers up to 17% discount off the retail price of most textbooks. Merlin Library offer a price match guarantee* meaning we will match any bona fide local textbook price. This price match guarantee ensures that parents can have their minds at rest when purchasing their textbooks from Merlin Library.
We are unable to offer discounts on Ministry of Education publications, De La Salle Bookshop and or Schola publications, Media Centre religious titles and MATSEC Past Papers.
We deliver to the address of your choice in Malta free of charge on orders of more than €50. Four working days after placing your order you will be contacted to agree on a convenient delivery date. If you do not received a phone call for delivery please send an email to mail@merlinlibrary.com with 'No Delivery Date' in the subject.
Pickup orders will be ready for collection from Merlin Library Blata L’Bajda after four working days and are kept for up to 8 weeks. If you have a query regarding your pickup, kindly send an email to mail@merlinlibrary.com with 'Pickup Query' in the subject.
