Kate Petty

7 Published Books

Anne Civardi is an experienced author and editor of children's books. Among the long list of titles that she has worked on are a wide range of Usborne First Experiences titles and several art books for children. Writing primarily for children, Joyce Dunbar has published over 80 titles, translated into 20 languages. She is perhaps best known for Tell Me Something Happy Before I Go To Sleep, This Is The Star, and the Mouse And Mole series. An innovative creator of non-fiction for children, she was the author of over 100 books. While Lynne Truss turned a book about punctuation into a bestseller for adults, Kate Petty did the same for children with The Great Grammar Book in 1996 and its sequel The Perfect (Pop-Up) Punctuation Book (2006), recognising the long-overlooked need for a simple and fun introduction to this subject. The late Professor David Fontana was a Fellow of the British Psychological Society, and his many books, which include The Essential Guide to the Tarot, The Secret Language of Symbols and The Secret Language of Dreams, have been translated into more than 25 languages. He held a professorship at Liverpool John Moores University and was a Distinguished Visiting Fellow at Cardiff University. He also held frequent meditation workshops and seminars and was a frequent broadcaster on the subject of child psychology.
