Michelle Thomas is a writer and broadcaster from rural North Wales, now based in Bristol. In 2015 she made international headlines when she wrote a blog about being body-shamed after a first (and last) date. The blog has now had over 500k views, and Michelle received thousands of messages of support from all over the world. Since then, she's written for the Guardian, Independent, Stylist, Standa rd Issue, IB Times and Shortlist. Her specialist subjects are feminism, body image, mental illness and dating, but her Instagram followers are also familiar with her terrible cooking, good and bad hair days and an on/off relationship with fitness.
