Expert author Dr Mike Goldsmith was formerly Head of Acoustics at the UK's National Physical Laboratory. Mike has written more than 40 science books for children and adults, which have been published in more than 28 countries. His books have been shortlisted for the Royal Society Young People's Book Prize twice. Richard Watson was snapped up by the Bright Agency soon after he gained a 1st class degree in Illustration at Lincoln University and his publishers include Templar, Usborne, Scholastic, OUP, Ladybird and Random House.
